Senior Accountant Job Description

Everest Clinical Research Services Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all reconciliations are adequately documented.
  • Manage regulatory filings for the United States and Canada, including filing HST returns.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and upload semi-monthly payroll entries to the accounting system.
  • Reconcile the general ledger to the payroll register and review adequacy of bonus and vacation accruals on a quarterly basis.
  • Maintain a weekly cash flow forecast and assist with the annual financial statements' audit.
Requirements:
  • B.A. or B.Comm. degree, or above.
  • At least 5 years of relevant financial experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Good organizational skills, flexible, with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented and customer-and-quality focused.
  • Self-starter and thrives in a high-growth and fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
