We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Architect to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International Inc. as a key member of our shipbuilding and shipping division.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing marine vessels and floating structures, as well as associated marine power plants, propulsion systems, and related systems and equipment. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers
  • Design and develop marine vessels and floating structures
  • Develop marine power plants, propulsion systems, and related systems and equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements:
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word proficiency
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
