Key Responsibilities:
As the Asset Protection Coordinator, you will report directly to the General Manager and be tasked with developing and implementing asset protection strategies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating innovative programs focused on awareness, training, and security solutions.
- Conducting criminal investigations and risk assessments.
- Overseeing daily security and loss prevention operations.
- Managing information technology and cyber security initiatives.
- Collaborating with external partners to mitigate cyber threats and ensure the security of IT assets.
- Coordinating with Health and Safety teams to align on best practices.
- Traveling as necessary between various locations.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Retail and demonstrate the following qualities:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- A proactive and motivated approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal abilities.
- A commitment to continuous professional development, staying updated on relevant legislation and technologies.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in Asset Protection or Risk Management, preferably within the retail sector.
- Experience in conducting investigations and familiarity with security systems.
- Relevant certifications in Loss Prevention or a degree in Commerce or Business.
- Integrity, trustworthiness, and a results-oriented mindset.
