About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Marketing Engineer to join our team at QNX Software Systems. As a key member of our Technical Marketing team, you will play a critical role in delivering technical validation of our products and solutions, while assisting the team in creating insightful technical marketing assets that strengthen our core solutions' narrative and messaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the technical competency center within the team to help develop and run efficacy and performance tests, including with third-party testing labs.
  • Manage the lab environment and demo systems to replicate real-world scenarios, primarily for Endpoint Protection.
  • Build and maintain relationships with third-party testing labs and vendors.
  • Help maintain and update Competitive Intelligence reports.
  • Work with our market-leading threat research team to understand the latest threat intelligence and implement it into our overall narrative.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining technical marketing communications on all our outbound communications, including web copy, solutions briefs, demos, videos, blogs, and sales material.
  • Help train and update sales and technical sales teams on the latest technical marketing messaging.
  • Represent QNX Software Systems at public events, trade shows, webinars, and on customer calls in a professionally technically astute manner.
Requirements
  • A good Bachelor's degree as a minimum in Computer Science or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications, particularly in a data security-related subject, would be ideal.
  • 3-5 years of technical marketing experience in Cybersecurity. Other experience such as DevOps and SecOps would also be considered.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Presentation experience, such as briefings, demos, videos, podcasts, and at industry events.
  • Strong focus on customer needs and outcomes with a deep commitment to teamwork and creating great technical marketing assets.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, with attention to detail. You thrive on the ever-changing nature of cybersecurity as threats present themselves daily.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a desire to get things done.
