Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the activities and job performance of Security Officers assigned to all sites belonging to our healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training to Security Officers.
  • Ensure all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shift.
  • Ensure site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and hospital security policies and procedures.
  • Plan and implement shift work schedules.
  • Ensure all Security Officers have received the mandatory training.
  • Motivate staff and issue commendations.
  • Discipline staff when necessary and ensure proper documentation is passed onto head office.
  • Attend to attendance management.
  • Perform security audits.
  • Document and investigate security incidents and complaints.
  • Communicate any concerns/issues with Client Service Manager.
Requirements
  • At least two years' healthcare security experience in a team lead role.
  • Post Secondary education in a law enforcement/security program from a recognized college.
  • Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy.
  • International Association of Healthcare Security Services (IAHSS) certificate.
