About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our team at Pixieset. As a key member of our design team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design and user experience of our core products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of product features and user experiences, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user journey.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, and the leadership team, to understand product requirements and communicate design concepts and solutions.
  • Utilize and contribute to the design system to build a cohesive product, ensuring consistency and brand integrity.
  • Develop and deliver the UX vision and solution for one or more of our core products, driving innovation and growth.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, leveraging design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Contribute strategic thinking to product features and the roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Ensure that design solutions are technically feasible and align with company goals, collaborating with Engineers to resolve any technical challenges.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to other designers on the team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Participate in and/or lead user interviews and research to better understand customer needs, informing design decisions and product development.
  • Mentor and provide constructive feedback to designers to help them improve their designs and their craft, fostering a culture of growth and development.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and experience in product design.
  • Experience designing SaaS products for SMB or Consumers, with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking.
  • Experience mentoring and providing constructive feedback to designers, with a strong ability to communicate design concepts and solutions.
  • Experience leading the design of complex product features and user experiences, with a proven track record of driving innovation and growth.
  • Strong business sense, with a deep understanding of the software industry and the needs of creative professionals.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a high level of attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
