Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Visual Arts Professor to join our team at the University of Ottawa. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching painting and contemporary art courses, as well as mentoring students in their artistic development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach painting and contemporary art courses to undergraduate and graduate students
  • Mentor students in their artistic development, providing guidance and feedback on their work
  • Develop and implement curriculum for painting and contemporary art courses
  • Assist in the development of the visual arts program at the University of Ottawa

Requirements

  • Master of Fine Arts or equivalent degree
  • Established reputation and exhibition record in painting, contemporary art, installation, and interdisciplinary art
  • Teaching experience at post-secondary level
