Hardware Design Engineer / Architect (GPU 3D Graphics)

Are you a skilled technologist with expertise in GPU technical architecture? We're seeking a senior, hands-on professional to join our team as a Hardware Design Engineer / Architect.

This role involves collaborating with a team of experienced GPU Architects and clients to gather new ideas and requirements for GPUs, staying up-to-date with industry trends. You'll be responsible for investigating and producing detailed architectural feature specifications, performing deep analysis to develop solutions that meet power, performance, area, and bandwidth requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex GPU architectures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions
  • Investigate and analyze technical problems to develop effective solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Experience with hardware/GPU design and architecture on large, complex systems
  • Good understanding of modern 3D graphics and/or compute APIs, such as Vulkan, D3D12, and OpenCL
  • Understanding of digital ASIC design methodologies and constraints
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Degree educated in a relevant technical discipline; MSc/PhD advantageous
