Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Switchboard Operator to join our team at CB Canada. As a Switchboard Operator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless communication between our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer, screen, and direct all incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide reception support to our clients and customers
- Direct visitors to the appropriate department or person
- Monitor the alarm and paging systems to ensure prompt response to emergencies
- Perform general office administration tasks as required
Requirements
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous switchboard experience an asset
- Intermediate computer skills, including MS Word, required; familiarity with AS/400 preferred
- Evidence of good work and attendance record
- Demonstrated commitment to CB Canada's Core Competencies (Service Excellence, Innovation, Collaboration, Integrity)
- Commitment to working within CB Canada's Health & Safety Policy
