Position Overview

The Transportation Logistics Manager at Legend Transportation is responsible for overseeing the efficient movement of goods and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of College or CEGEP education is preferred.
Work Environment
  • Role is situated within a trucking company.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate shipping documentation and monitor the tracking and tracing of goods in transit.
  • Ensure adherence to transport regulations and compliance standards.
  • Develop and enforce policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
  • Manage the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and shipments.
  • Set transportation service rates and oversee revenue monitoring.
  • Organize and maintain inventory systems.
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate daily operational activities.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage working groups effectively.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years of relevant experience.
