About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Ericson Manufacturing Inc. in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training
    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering or Manufacturing.
  • Work Experience
    • Have at least 2 years of experience in CNC machining, with a strong background in precision engineering and machine tool operation.
  • Technical Skills
    • Be proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
    • Have experience setting up and adjusting production machinery and tools.
    • Be able to fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
    • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
    • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
    • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience
    • Have experience using computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Be able to travel to different locations as required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Have excellent attention to detail and be able to work accurately.
    • Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
