Job Title: Cashier

Join MADE'S KITCHEN AFRICAN CUISINE as a skilled Cashier to provide exceptional customer service and ensure seamless transactions in our fast-paced food service environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register with accuracy and efficiency, processing payments and handling customer transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Train and supervise staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring quality control standards are met.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
