About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Developer to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a senior developer, you will design, implement, and continuously optimize automation solutions to meet stakeholder needs and the changing security landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation solutions using a fast and iterative Agile/DevOps approach.
  • Create technical and user documentation to enable knowledge sharing among the team and the user community.
  • Provide consultation and ongoing support to enable user adoption and realize business value.
  • Execute development activities and hand-off positive outcomes to end users for ultimate delivery.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and control standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including architecting, designing, and programming.
  • Extensive programming experience, 3+ years programming in Python.
  • Expertise in Web development and API integrations (RESTful and SOAP web services, JSON/XML).
  • Strong working experience of Windows and Linux environments.
  • Sound knowledge of common network protocols, including TCP/IP and HTTP.
  • Knowledge of modern digital architecture (cloud, container, messaging, and microservices).
  • Experience with workflow automation platforms, such as Power Automate, Cortex XSOAR, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with data analytics and building machine learning models with related tools.
  • Experience working in the information security field.
  • University or post-graduate degree.
  • Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering).
