Senior SAP BASIS Consultant

S.i. Systèmes is seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP BASIS consultant to maintain and enhance a Departmental Financial Management System in the public sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the client's implementation of the applications, information and technology infrastructure needed to support the management and administration of the Department.

The Departmental Financial Management System (DFMS) is built on the SAP software and requires a skilled professional to ensure its smooth operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Administration: Install, monitor, upgrade and maintain SAP hardware and software components, working closely with Project Managers, technical resources, developers and clients/stakeholders to maintain and improve software performance.
  • Infrastructure Development: Install, configure, build, test and document the necessary SAP components and infrastructure components for identified projects.
  • Implementation Strategy: Analyze and propose solutions to implementation strategies, ensuring the most effective and efficient approach is taken.
  • Problem-Solving: Apply problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • System Optimization: Ensure timely and reliable system administration procedures, including backup and recovery processes.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to optimize system efficiency and effectiveness.
