Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Urban Classic Furniture and Home Decor. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting merchandise and products to customers in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products to customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by being professional, courteous, and responsive to customer needs.
  • Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of items received and delivered, and ensure that inventory is properly managed.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Logistics and Planning: Use maps and other trip planning aids to plan efficient routes and ensure timely deliveries.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, and be able to work under pressure.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects, and be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be a team player with a strong work ethic.
