Permanent and Urgent Long Term Locum Positions Available
The Group Health Centre is currently recruiting Associate Family Medicine physicians to join its team. To be eligible, candidates must hold an undergraduate medical degree, have successfully completed postgraduate training, and/or have an unrestricted license to practice medicine with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
Candidates must possess the necessary skills to provide primary care services for patients in both office and in-hospital settings, as well as the intention to practice in the North on a long-term basis.
The Group Health Centre provides a progressive, multi-specialty, ambulatory care health facility that serves a large population. Associate positions come with a highly attractive remuneration package that allows focus on quality of care and provides a pleasing work/home balance.
The Group Health Centre has a unique benefit package that includes four weeks of vacation time to start, allowing for more opportunity to catch one's breath and enjoy the environment. Associates rest easy knowing that they and their family have benefits including major medical, dental, and vision care.
The Group Health Centre is currently recruiting long-term Family Medicine locums to start now and/or in the near future. The practices are established with well-cared-for patients.
Remuneration is $1,000 per 6-hour booked clinic. No on-call, hospital, or after-hours responsibilities. Reimbursement for travel, car rental, and accommodation will be provided for locums of a minimum of two weeks.
