Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this role.

Experience: While experience is not mandatory, it is considered an asset.

Work Setting: This position is focused on estimating within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for building projects.
  2. Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and create accurate estimates.
  3. Develop and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms to clients.
  4. Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate estimates.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in estimating software packages.
  • Experience with take-off packages.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel for data analysis and estimation.

Personal Qualities:

  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Work Details:

This is a permanent position with a standard 40-hour workweek.

Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
