Position Overview:

The Clinic Medical Assistant operates under general supervision to support healthcare providers in delivering patient care. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, administering medications, and gathering patient history during medical consultations. The incumbent also assists with general office tasks and may serve as a backup receptionist when necessary. Additionally, the Clinic Medical Assistant performs phlebotomy, completes diagnostic requisition forms, and aids in scheduling diagnostic tests.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  2. Two years of experience in a clinical environment and/or relevant training, or a combination of education and experience preferred.
  3. Experience as a Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
  4. Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
  5. Must obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.
  6. Experience in an office or clinic setting, with the ability to answer phones positively, input data into a computer, and use basic office equipment.
  7. Ability to accurately measure vital signs.
  8. Strong multitasking skills and ability to maintain organization in high-pressure situations.
  9. Proficient computer skills to effectively use various software applications.

Compensation: $21.00 – $28.22+ per hour, depending on experience, plus a $2000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions.

$350/month Housing Stipend available for residents of designated counties.

Benefits: Employees, both full-time and part-time, are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including Health, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability, Short-Term Disability, and Flexible Spending Accounts. All employees (excluding temporary) can participate in our retirement program.

Status: Available for both Full-Time and Part-Time permanent positions.

Shifts: Various schedules available including Winter Park and Granby locations.
