Job Title: Principal Engineer, Cloud Platforms

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to lead our Cloud Platforms team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of cloud-based solutions using C#.Net, React, and Azure.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to define product roadmaps and technical requirements.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain engineering practices, guidelines, and standards.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to provide technical leadership and contribute to the software engineering lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of C#.Net, React, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Location:

Hamilton (preferred), but open to Auckland / Tauranga & Hamilton suburbs willing to travel 2 days a week to office.
