Located in various regions, the Financial Operations Specialist will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will undertake a variety of responsibilities primarily focused on invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, as well as financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
As a member of the Enterprises team, you will:
Deliver general accounting assistance Record and assign expenses to appropriate accounts Ensure the accuracy of received invoices Update financial records with new payments, balances, and customer details Manage vendor setup and ongoing maintenance Review and reconcile vendor statements Reconcile corporate credit card statements, ensuring receipts and postings are matched Prepare month-end accounts payable reports Provide confidential, courteous, and professional service Perform additional administrative tasks related to the filing, maintenance, and retention of financial records as required Ideal Candidate Profile:
You possess over 5 years of experience in an accounting role or a related field You make informed decisions and exercise independent judgment within defined parameters aligned with business goals You can adapt and modify your approach to achieve desired outcomes You are proactive in seeking assistance or guidance when necessary You are trusted to work independently while also contributing to the overall success of the team Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will hold a college diploma or university degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related discipline. Additionally, you should possess:
High motivation with a results-oriented mindset Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Ability to handle confidential matters and manage sensitive information Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with QuickBooks or BST is advantageous A valid Class G driver's license What We Provide:
