About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heating and Air Conditioning Technician to join our team at J and K Heating Ltd. as a key member of our installation and maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and lay out reference points for installation of heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Start up systems and test for leaks using testing devices, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • The role will involve working in various locations, including residential and commercial settings, and may require working at heights or in confined spaces.
  • The position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the heating and air conditioning industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
