Job Summary

Ulteig is seeking a highly skilled OT Network & Systems Administrator III to join our Automation, Integration, and System Protection (AISP) Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and troubleshooting network equipment and servers to support our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Design and Implementation: Design network infrastructure and make recommendations to support client needs under the supervision of a Lead Administrator.
  • Network Configuration and Troubleshooting: Configure firewalls, switches, and other devices per the designs, and troubleshoot network equipment using industry best practices for secure networks.
  • Field Support: Provide field support for network equipment and servers, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Client Support: Support engineers and clients with communication issues as they arise, and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Take ownership of quality and participate in QC checks and factory acceptance tests of designs and configurations.
  • Professional Development: Mentor less experienced engineers and provide business development support.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent field of study.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in network administration, or 5+ years of experience in a related field with an associate's degree.
  • Certifications: Relevant professional network certifications, such as CCNP, Fortinet NSE4, VCP-DCA, Palo Alto PCNA, ISC2 CC, LPI, or Linux+.
  • Skills: Solid understanding of the OSI model, strong communication skills, ability to work closely and effectively with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects, and experience with Hyper Converged Solutions or other redundant server configurations.
