Job Title: Truck Trailer Repairer Apprentice

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Truck Trailer Repairer Apprentice at R.S. Service Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist in the repair and maintenance of commercial transport trucks and trailers, working under the supervision of experienced technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the diagnosis and repair of mechanical issues with commercial transport trucks and trailers
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Work with supervisors to determine the best course of action for repairs and maintenance
  • Inspect vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend repairs
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer specifications
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for repairs and maintenance
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
