Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Heavy Duty Mechanic (421A) to enhance our operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal performance of our machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and assess machinery for issues and malfunctions.
  • Repair and modify equipment, replacing any defective components.
  • Conduct updates and seasonal inspections as required.
  • Document work orders and maintain accurate technician notes digitally.
  • Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide on-site service by operating a service vehicle to reach customer locations.

Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in the 421A Heavy Duty Mechanic apprenticeship program, with completion of Level 3.
  • Ability to perform essential repairs and maintenance using specialized tools and following technical guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems relevant to heavy-duty and agricultural machinery.
  • Competence in operating diagnostic vehicles and equipment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical capability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs consistently.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent experience is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
  • Forklift certification is advantageous.
