Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tandoori Grill Meat Shop. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management
    • Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Staff Management
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and consistency in all aspects of our operations.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our operations and informing business decisions.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required, ensuring that all necessary information is presented in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
