Job Summary:

The Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and conducting workplace inspections and investigations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to employees, management, and clients
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct workplace inspections and investigations to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with management and employees to develop and implement health and safety training programs
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
