Job Summary
We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant II to join our team at Lawtons. As a Pharmacy Assistant II, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing prescriptions, and assisting with pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions, including receiving and releasing prescriptions
- Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
- Promote PROfile programs and other pharmacy services
- Assist with compounding, pill pack assembly, and filing prescriptions
- Perform administrative duties, including cycle counts, narcotic counts, and return to stocks
- Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
Requirements
- Preferred: Undergraduate degree, Pharmacy Technology Certificate, or other Pharmacy Recognized program
- Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
