We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Law Clerk to join our team at Linds & Associates Ltd. in downtown Toronto. As a key member of our commercial real estate team, you will be responsible for handling commercial purchase, sales, and lending transactions from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out commercial real estate files from beginning to end, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Prepare all related documents for purchase and sale transactions, mortgage transactions, routine loan transactions, and refinancing on behalf of borrowers from both private and institutional lenders.
  • Review title searches and prepare title memoranda, prepare off-title search letters, oversee off-title searches, and draft requisition letters and responses.
  • Deal directly with clients, financial institutions, municipalities, land registry offices, and title insurance companies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Real Estate Law Clerk with some exposure to commercial real estate matters.
  • Successful completion of a related post-secondary education program in a legal assistant or law clerk program.
  • Proficiency with Teraview and Unity is required.
