Job Title: Computer Network Technician

Safewatch Live Monitoring Inc is seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Administration: Coordinate access and use of computer networks, install software, and maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software.
  • Security: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, and perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records.
  • Support: Provide problem-solving services to network users, and respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers.
  • Supervision: Supervise technical staff and work closely with the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Work Environment:

  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language.
