Civil Engineer Job Description

Cain & Associates is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing civil engineering projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement civil engineering designs and plans for industrial, commercial, and manufacturing projects
  • Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with Canadian and municipal codes and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in civil engineering

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists of Ontario
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in civil engineering in Canada
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
