Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Assist dentists with intra-oral duties, including taking and developing X-rays, and recording dental procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing dental instruments and filling materials, and sterilizing equipment.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health.
  • Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a dental setting.
  • Registration with provincial or territorial authorities.
