About the Job

Macleod's Plumbing & Heating Inc. is seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing crew, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment
  • Support the mining advancement by extending and installing air and water pipes or operating ore loading machinery
  • Repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Maintain and repair water well pumps, piping systems, and equipment
  • Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in plumbing
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willing to travel regularly
  • Public transportation is available
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. You will be working outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments. You must be physically demanding and able to handle heavy loads.
