Job Overview

As a Food Service Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a remarkable dining experience for patients, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, friendly customer service to all patrons
  • Inform guests about menu selections, daily specials, and cafeteria events
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation and service areas
  • Assist in the preparation of various food items, including sandwiches, soups, and salads
  • Assemble food trays for patients according to dietary needs
  • Restock and organize shelves, cereal and bread stations, salad bars, and coolers as needed
  • May clean and sanitize dishes and utensils
  • Monitor temperatures, label products following FIFO guidelines, and maintain waste and cleaning logs
  • Comply with all Aramark policies regarding health, safety, and food hygiene
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential
