About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Specialist to join our team at 2809473 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our data administration department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain computer databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Requirements Documentation: Document customers' requirements for projects to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
  • Advice and Guidance: Provide advice to other informatics professionals regarding database management tools to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Test data models and database management systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Database Design and Development: Design and develop databases to meet business needs and ensure data security.
  • Data Analysis: Operate database management systems to analyze data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Data Administration Policy: Develop and implement data administration policy, standards, and models to ensure data governance.
  • Research and Documentation: Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policy to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage, and for the backup and recovery of data to ensure data security.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and models.
About the Team

You will be working with a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about data management and administration.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in data administration or a related field.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
