Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated dental hygienist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing thorough and gentle dental cleanings, educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, and collaborating with our dentists to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality dental cleanings to patients, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
  • Conduct thorough oral health assessments to identify potential issues and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and diet recommendations.
  • Collaborate with dentists to ensure comprehensive patient care and develop treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Requirements
  • College diploma or certificate in dental hygiene from a recognized institution.
  • Current registration with the relevant provincial or territorial dental hygiene regulatory body.
  • Experience in a dental hygiene setting is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
