Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Neon Freight Inc is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials across the country
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
