As a Mountain Bike Instructor at KÉNO Camp, you'll play a vital role in guiding and educating young adventurers in the exhilarating world of mountain biking. Your passion for outdoor activities and expertise in cycling will be instrumental in creating memorable experiences for campers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise groups of youth during their stay at camp, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout all activities.
  • Deliver engaging mountain biking instruction tailored to the age and skill levels of the participants.
  • Plan and execute exciting mountain biking expeditions within the scenic Bras-du-Nord Valley.
  • Develop and implement a diverse range of activities that cater to the interests and abilities of the campers, fostering teamwork and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with other instructors to provide support during specialized activities such as canoeing, climbing, and sailing.
  • Work closely with the animation team to contribute to camp events and create a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and standards, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for all campers.

About KÉNO Camp

KÉNO Camp is dedicated to providing enriching outdoor experiences for youth aged 5 to 17. Nestled near Saint-Raymond-de-Portneuf, our camp offers a unique blend of forest expeditions and water activities, fostering a love for nature and adventure.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in mountain biking and a genuine enthusiasm for the sport.
  • A passion for outdoor recreation and working with young people.
  • Valid first aid and CPR certification.
  • DAFA diploma is an asset.
  • Minimum age of 17 years.
  • Prior experience in animation or camp leadership is highly desirable.
  • Ability to occasionally lift loads up to 50lb.
