About the Role

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients within our healthcare system. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from patient care and examination preparation to image acquisition and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and prepare patients for their imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the process.
  • Interpret medical prescriptions and collaborate with physicians to determine the appropriate imaging techniques.
  • Perform a variety of radiographic examinations using specialized equipment, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Ensure optimal image quality by adjusting technical settings and employing proper positioning techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college diploma in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with the Quebec Order of Technologists in Medical Imaging, Radiation Oncology, and Medical Electrophysiology.
