We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team at MEDGRACEL FILIPINO AND ASIAN STORE. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our meat department is well-stocked and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Preparing Meats: Clean and prepare meats to prepare for processing or cutting, and ensure that all cuts are made to the highest standards.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers on the best cuts of meat.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure that the meat department is well-stocked at all times.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers to ensure that the meat department runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing circumstances, such as unexpected stock shortages or customer requests.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Work Experience: Experience in a retail environment is an asset.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Availability: Availability to work 30 to 40 hours per week is required.
