Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist/IV Therapist to join our team at pt Health. As a Phlebotomist/IV Therapist, you will be responsible for collecting blood and non-blood specimens from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood and non-blood specimens from patients
  • Process specimens to prepare them for laboratory testing
  • Initiate I.V. therapy and provide care for patients
  • Disconnect IV treatment upon completion of therapy

Requirements:

  • Obtains blood specimens and collects nonblood specimens such as urine for laboratory testing
  • Processes specimens to prepare them for laboratory testing
  • Patient focused professional with a great attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prioritize workload and maximize efficiency within the position
