Job Title: Actuarial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our team at CA007 Mercer (Canada) Limited. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will play a key role in providing actuarial services to our clients, including retirement and post-retirement benefits actuarial valuations, benefit calculations, and pension administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform actuarial valuations, including data validation, analysis of plan gains and losses, and preparation of valuation reports.
  • Calculate pension benefits and prepare statements of entitlements for members of pension plans.
  • Update and manage client databases, prepare annual statements, and calculate pension adjustments.
  • Work in collaboration with professionals to resolve technical actuarial problems and meet client needs.
  • Participate in the design and pricing of client's employee pension plans and executive pension benefits.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, administration, or a related field.
  • Superior analytical skills and working knowledge of Excel and other MS-Office software programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to develop new skills.
  • Strong aptitude for teamwork and adaptability to meet deadlines and accommodate shifting client needs.
