Compensation

$24.38 per hour

Shift Premium: $0.50 for Afternoon shifts, $0.75 for Night shifts

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and comprehend all work orders.
  • Set up all pullers and heating tables.
  • Adjust all saws and drills for the required tasks.
  • Adhere to the Production Planner Schedule as outlined, except in cases of backorder.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by Senior Management.
  • Perform any other level 2 or lower duties in bending and belling as needed.
  • Identify and locate materials by size and color.
  • Assemble and glue all necessary fittings.
  • Accurately cut tee and wye stubs.
  • Apply appropriate packaging for finished products.
  • Conduct visual inspections of parts for damage, proper hole placement, and potential cracks in fittings.
  • Inspect glue joints for air bubbles.
  • Report any deficiencies in systems, facilities, machinery, equipment, and tools.
  • Document and report product damage or nonconformities.
  • Record the number of pieces on completed work orders.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Previous experience in Fabrication Bending/Belling III is an asset.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating effectively in English.
  • Capable of performing basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kilograms).
