Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Engineering Design Organization (EDO) team. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing geotechnical engineering projects, providing technical expertise, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects, including project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, including geotechnical investigation, analysis, and design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in geotechnical engineering.
  • Contribute to business development and growth initiatives, including proposal development, client engagement, and market research.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in geotechnical, geological, or civil engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in British Columbia.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong background in project management, technical expertise, and leadership.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software applications, including GeoStudio and PLAXIS.
