Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Engineering: Engage in development across the entire technology stack, from web and mobile applications to backend services hosted on Azure. The specific technology stack may vary depending on the project. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and fellow developers, to convert project requirements into functional software solutions. Cloud Infrastructure: Leverage Azure services for application hosting, scaling, and deployment, ensuring optimal performance and availability. Code Excellence: Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards. Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing to validate the reliability and robustness of applications. Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API documentation, and system specifications, utilizing tools such as Confluence and Lucid Charts. Agile Deployment: Participate in 2-week sprint cycles, contributing to the release of updates to production. Task Management: Refine, estimate, and update user stories in Jira to facilitate effective workload management within the team.Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of experience and knowledge, with a minimum of 6 years in one core skill area and at least 2 years in another:
Web Development: Expertise in React.JS, HTML/CSS/JS. Mobile Development: Proficient in React Native, and/or Native iOS or Native Android development. Backend Engineering: Experience with Python Django/Flask or Java Spring Boot. DevOps Practices: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Azure Bicep or Terraform) and CI/CD methodologies (Azure Pipelines).Additionally, candidates with the following secondary skills will find them advantageous:
Database Expertise: Experience in database design and management using PostgreSQL or NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or Firebase DB. Security Protocols: Knowledge of implementing Single Sign-On (SSO), Azure App Service Authentication, or Azure B2C for secure user experiences. Streaming Technologies: Familiarity with message stream processing using Apache Kafka or Apache Pulsar for real-time data handling.
