About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter Assistant to join our team at 1262688 B.C. LTD. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, including loading and transporting materials, mixing and pouring concrete and asphalt, and assisting in framing houses and building roofs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the supervision of experienced tradespeople
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants in a safe and efficient manner
Work Environment
  • The successful candidate will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including hot and dusty environments
  • They will also work in urban and rural areas, and may be required to travel to different locations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a variety of weather conditions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
