About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Library Technician to join our team on a casual basis. As a Library Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the library team in maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment for students and staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily library operations, including shelving books, processing materials, and maintaining the library's collection
  • Provide support to students and staff with research and technology-related tasks
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in library services
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Library Technician Diploma or be enrolled in a program and nearing successful completion. A minimum of a college-level Diploma is also acceptable.

A Pastoral Reference Letter from a Roman Catholic Parish, indicating you are a practicing Roman Catholic, is required.

A resume and cover letter addressed to the Sr. Manager of Recruitment, Human Resources, are also required.
