Part-Time Elementary English Teacher/Tutor Wanted

We are seeking a part-time Elementary English teacher/tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Richmond Hill - Oak Ridges. As an Interactive Coach, you will work directly with students to help them develop their English language skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach up to 3 students at a time at different levels
  • Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements:
  • University students will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current curriculum
  • Some experience teaching/tutoring is preferred
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students' understanding
  • Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
