Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Pomeroy Lodging LP. As a Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that our hotel rooms and common areas are clean, comfortable, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas of the hotel are cleaned regularly.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of cleaning services, ensuring that all areas of the hotel meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
  • Train and develop housekeeping staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties to a high standard.
  • Manage and maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are available and in good working order.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.

Requirements

  • One year of experience in a housekeeping leadership role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
  • Proficient in English.
