Workday Financials Functional Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Financials Functional Specialist to join our team at AMA - Alberta Motor Association. As a key member of our implementation team, you will play a critical role in the successful deployment of our new Workday Financial ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Workday functional and technical leads to design, configure, and test the Workday Financial system.
  • Share your expertise with the project team to ensure a seamless implementation.
  • Lead or participate in implementation readiness activities, including data clean-up, process documentation, and gathering of requirements.
  • Work closely with finance, operational, and IT teams to ensure a successful implementation.
  • Configure and build Workday reports and dashboards.
  • Provide training and support to end-users.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Workday Finance ERP implementations.
  • 3-5 years of experience in requirements gathering, solutioning, configuring, testing, and implementing Workday Financial modules.
  • Experience with data migration from legacy systems to Workday ERP systems.
  • Previous accounting experience and Workday certifications are considered assets.
