Job Summary

Cherish at Central Park is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning and disinfection of all areas, including common spaces, resident rooms, and equipment.
  • Security and Safety: Monitor security cameras, respond to fire and smoke alarms, and ensure the overall safety and security of our facilities.
  • Resident Support: Provide assistance to residents with daily tasks, respond to emergency alerts, and maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards our residents.
  • Administrative Tasks: Answer phone calls, take messages, and complete administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in janitorial or cleaning services.
  • Certifications: WHMIS Certification required.
  • Language: English (required).
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position working overnight shifts from 11:30 pm to 7:30 am. The successful candidate must be able to commute to our location in Langford, BC V9B0T2.
